About the GMC RTS 04
These are 1981 GMC RTS 04's. These were originaly owned by SCRTD Southern Califorina Rapid Transit District. These were diesel fueled and are 40 feet. MTA purchased the 91 & 9200's from OCTA and were later retired. Before being retired these buses served ATE and Coach USA lines under contract with MTA. These lines such as 96,232 and more. The buses windows never opened actually they never had openable windows and before getting retired wheelchair ramps didn't work and Ac's didn't either. They have a back door that stands out from the rest of the MTA RTS fleet. Most of the RTS had indented doors. The buses have been out of service for almost 5 years. |
