About the 2000 NABI 40LFW

These were the first NABI to be delivered to MTA. They were delivered in 2000. The
7000-7123's are in service for the Metro Rapid lines. These buses are powered by a Detroit Diesel Series 50G. They are 40 Feet long and they run on Compressed Natural Gas. These NABI began phasing out the old diesel Flxible Metro's. MTA has the largest CNG fleet in the nation, and has went from the oldest bus company to now the youngest with the new advanced millenium buses. This picture on the left is NABI 7000 in the Metrobus yellow-stripe. 7000 is now a Metro Rapid Bus.
