About the 1997 Neoplan
MTA operates a large amount of Neoplan buses. The Neoplan operated by the LACMTA run on clean burning CNG ( Compressed Natural Gas). These buses are operated out of 2 divisions 10 and 18. They are very loud buses but on the inside of the coach you think that it is a fairly quiet bus. All of MTA's Neoplan have very loud engines. All of the Neoplan are powered by a Cummins L10-G engine except for the 1999 Neoplan which are powered by Detroit Diesel Series 50G engines which are not as loud as the rest of the Neoplan fleet. |
