1989 LACMTA TMC RTS 2300-2402
These 89's are powere by a Detroit Diesel 6V92 with a Allison Voith 731 Transmission. MTA Operates a handfull of these coaches. These are 1989 TMC RTS's they run on diesel and are operated out of divisions 1,2.9,and 18. MTA Is slowly retiring all of its RTS's for Low-Floor Compressed Natural Gas buses, such as NABI's and NewFlyer's. Notice the 89's have the exhaust on the top left corner while the 2000& 2200 and 4400's have the exhaust in the rear under the bumper.
