The Blog Of Folder Fanatic
If you are a visitor or member of many of the bike forums on the Web, you have probably came across my threads and posts over the years. As the number of posts and information grew (and still grows), my sister's need to get familiar with the folding bikes that I purchased and share with her, plus the habit of old posts and threads disappearing after it dies on other forums, I decided to develop and publish the numerous concepts and information I amassed in not one but two separate websites both titled World Of Folding Bicycles. One site is a text based formal Geocites hosted one where I placed the topics of mostly things related to the use and enjoyment of folding bicycles. The other site is a photo based one on Flickr. This site expands the Geocities further by visually placing the bikes in various environments like Hollywood and studios, on public transit, in restaurants and other similar places. Since it is a primary photo based one, the user has options of whether or not to view the bikes and what size to do it in.
As I developed each site over the past year, I noticed that there are other areas of my life needed to be said and were being neglected. Originally both sites (especially Geocities) were supposed to do the job. The direction of both sites are determined in their own way-not what I try to impose on them. So I decided to branch out in another direction-and name-entirely. Hence, The Unforgettable Ugly Dog: The Updated Blog Of Folder Fanatic.
Now my new blog offers a rather primitive (no fancy audio editing offered-yet) feature. It is actually hosted by Gabcast. I have embedded a player into my blog's pages. When I cannot get to a Internet-enabled device to post text wise, I am able to now post-by any touch tone phone! It might not be too flashy, fancy, or sexy. Yet I will be able to communicate-even after surgery or some other unexpected problem that might cropped. No more stupid gaps! That is what I want to do above all else-keep on blogging no matter what.
Although I do and will discuss bicycles and especially folding ones in this blog, that is not it's primary purpose. It is a personal account of my various activities and interests that involve both my inner self and the outer world. Here I will be more free in discussing day to day concerns and other things like politics, other hobbies, personal relationships, and other such things.
