| 10/14/05 Hey, you 12 Travesty fans! A lot has happened in the past four months...the recording got pushed back to Sep. 29th, after my girlfriend, Jessica, and I were involved in a bit of a car accident. Luckily none of us recieved any serious injuries. Then on Sep. 17th, Jon and his wife, Sue, gave birth to a lovely baby girl. So best of luck to Jon, Sue, and Ruby Frances Price. Harariville was awesome! Thanks to the expertise of Rob Harari and Chris Speich, we were able to lay down 10 tracks in three days. It was an honor and a pleasurable experience to work with them again and we'd like to thank them for all their help (even after the four hours were up on day three!) The tentative track listing is: 1. Travesty 2. Little Bastards 3. Mute 4. Blue 5. Through Tragedy 6. Eternal 7. The Recoil 8. The March 9. Train 10. What do I do with this? We're going back in early November to mix down the whole thing. We have a rough mix in our hands so we'll have some clips up on our MySpace pretty soon. We also took some video footage in the studio so we'll put that up on the site as well. By the way, has anybody seen page 122 of the november issue of REVOLVER MAGAZINE? No? Well go check it out, cuz WE'RE ON IT! It's the one with the douchebag from HIM on the cover, but fear not, there are no douchebags on page 122 in the picture underneath the word "TRAVESTY". Finally, Travesty is joining the underground force known as Seventh Level Records. We'll be joining such bands as Primer Black (featuring former Leviathan frontman Shane Tierney), No Affiliation, Dirty Brown Eye and Malignancy, so check out their site and pretty soon you'll be able to buy our album in record stores and online dealers as well.
