Zombie Lake

On the cover of the box it says that it is one of the most greusome movies ever caught on film. Believe me, it is not. The scariest thing would have to be the fear that these villagers have of their clothes. Within the first minute of the film there is full-frontal nudity. Then every five minutes after that, there is a new nude swimmer. The funniest part is when a van drives up full of girls that start to play volleyball. They play for about 30 seconds and then....BAM....clothes come off. There is so much nudity in this film that it is even on the inside sleeve of the DVD.

The make-up in this film is horrible. Sometimes the zombies are green, sometimes they aren't. It also seems that when you die that the rot only affects your face and hands, not your arms!!!

Now that we got the majority of the film out of the way, lets move onto the storyline. Oh I am sorry there isn't any. All that there is to understand is that during World War II a NAZI troop had a kid with a French village. The troop is later ambushed by resistence fighters. The bodies of all of the NAZI troops are thrown into a local lake. Well, like in other horror films, this improper burial seems to make the bodies stay alive and wait until the right moment to strike. As you can guess the skinny-dippers are the victims. The zombies seem to enjoy synchrnous swimming.

The zombie that had the kid returns to the village to find her. He does. They become friends because he recongizes her necklace. The girl isn't even afraid of our nausea zombie friend. Well the leader of the zombie pack doesn'y like this. So him and our friendly zombie get into a knife fight of all things. Too bad it wasn't a Miracle Blade III knife.

Now I won't tell you the end, but it was the only violence in the film.

Swim and die.

If the lake is haunted why go near it.

Very little dialouge in this film.

Watch for color-changing zombies.
