Children of the Living Dead
This has got to be one of the dumbest but funniest extremely low-budget that I own. The story-line is non-existent :) Don't ask me how such a high-profile person that Tom Savini is could be connected to this. From start to end you will be laughing at this film.
The story opens with a small village out for a hunt. But they aren't hunting deer, they are hunting the dead. This film must pick up where the original "Night of the Living Dead" left off. Anyway, back to the summary. There is a survivalist guy that is whooping some zombie butt. After killing a whole buncha zombies he meets up with an officer that he worked with when he was on the force. The two go to wrap up clearing the areaing by going to the house where a murderer lived and supposedly was killed in prison. Well they go into the barn where they find a group of kids in a horse-stall. They are released. The survival guy goes up into the attic and is killed by the murderer that lived there.
Flashforward 14 years and we meet up with the kids (that sound like they are from a D.A.R.E skit) that were in that horse-stall. They are riding around and decide to stop at the murderer's house. The girls start to get scared so they leave. As they drive on road that is located near a cliff, the murderer who is all zombified comes strutting (literally this guy struts). And they drive off the cliff. They are to be buried but their corpses are zombified by the murderer, and so are the grave-robbers and the grave-digger.
Flashforward 1 year and this is where the rest of the movie starts. The cemetary is to be transformed into a car-dealership. From this point on there the story basically begins to explain itself, like why the town is so secret about what happened there.
A pretty funny film. The voices and the acting are hilarious. Definitely a B-Movie film, and although not truly a must see it will give you something to do on a rainy day.
