Red/Blue Cheats
Fight Pok�mon near Cinnabar
1.Go into a cave, the Safari Zone, or fight a trainer.
2.Then exit and fly to Cinnabar Island.
Pokemon Pinball
3. Go to the Eastern edge of Cinnabar and surf into the water.
4. Line yourself up so it looks like your Pok�mon is on both the ground and in the water.
5. Keep surfing up and down and you should eventually encounter a Pok�mon from wherever you were last.
Pokemon Red/Blue
Clone Pok�mon
1. Set up a trade, with one player with a Pok�mon they don't mind getting deleted.
2. When the screen says, Waiting... the person with the Pok�mon they want to clone (the original owner) turn off the Gameboy.
3. Now turn off the other Gameboy.
Pokemon Yellow
4. If the code worked, when you restart both Gameboys, both games will have the cloned Pok�mon.
100+ Items or Fight Pok�mon with levels 100+
The 100+ Code
1. Put the item you want increased in the 6th slot of your Item List. (Warning: Only put items that can be sold in this slot or your game will mess up or even delete itself!!!)
Pokemon Gold/Silver
2. Go to Viridian City.
3. Head North, towards the Old Man that guards the exit of the city.
4. Talk to him and tell him when he asks if you are in a hurry.
5. He'll demonstrate his Pok�mon catching abilities on a Weedle (Wow, he has 50 Pok�balls)
Pokemon TCG
6. FLY directly to Cinnabar Island
7. Head right, to the Eastern Coast of Cinnabar.
Pokemon Misc.
8. SURF up and down the coast (half in water, half on land)
9. You'll fight either a Level 100+ Pok�mon or a Level 0 or 80 MISSINGNO. (His name is messed up)
10.If you fight a Level 0 or 100+ MISSINGNO then run away or knock him out for the 100+ items code to work
Note: You will only run into 2 different 100+ Pok�mon. It depends on what you named yourself. You might also only run into 1 100+ Pok�mon.
Skip The Seafoam Islands
If you're stuck in the Seafoam Islands because I haven't made a map for it yet, then try this:
1. Fly to Pallet Town
2. Surf down to Cinnabar Island
Raise Your Pok�mon's HP
1. Beat the Elite four with a Pokemon.
2.Heal it at a PokeCenter.
3. Put it in the PC.
4. Take it out and its HP and stats will have risen
This works for Lv100 Pokemon, too.
Substitution - Explosion/Self Destruct Trick
Here's a useful glitch that I don't think anyone else has discovered yet:
If the opponent uses Substitute, and you use Explosion/Self Destruct while its in effect, you will not lose any HP and your pok�mon will temporarily lose its graphic. To get the picture back, you must switch out, or let the opponent hit you, but only your opponent will be able to see you. Other than the picture, everything else will be normal, so no repeated uses of Explosion w/o fainting, but you can repeat the process if the opponent uses substitute again.
Easy Money
In the Pokemon have u ever had a shortage of money well this code can fix it (without GAMESHARK) To start u have to have about $400 to spare than go to Celadon City go the rooftop in the market and buy water for the little girl and she will give u a TM which is worth $2000 when you sell it!
Unlimited Money
To get unlimited money (meaning you can easily get more as often as possible), just do the 10+ items code, with the Nugget in the sixth spot on your items list, and then go to the nearest Pok�mart, tell the guy you want to sell an item, go to the nuggets, and press down twice so that you sell all but one of the nuggets. Now when you want more money, repeat this same trick, and you should get the same effect. Just don't kill Missingno. or M, or he's gone and you will not be able to repeat this trick over again.
Fish in Statues
You get to fish in statues. Get any rod Go to Misty's gym.
Go to one of the statues inside the gym. Go up to it.
Go to item and select your rod.
After that, press A and use it. You'll be fishing' in the statues
Missingno. Fix
Aren't you tired of Missingno.'s glitched body? If so, this trick is for you! Capture a Missingno. and put it in your PC. When you select withdrawing it, look at its stats instead. After looking, select withdraw, and you should hear Rhydon's call instead of a beep. Now look at Missingno, and he will have Rhydon's image! (Note: Missingno. does not gain any other of Rhydon's characteristics, only his image!)
How to get Kangaskhan
Make sure you're only carrying FIVE Pokemon, or this won't work. Go talk to the coffee guy in Viridian City. Fly to Cinnabar Island and surf on the right until you find a lv. 0 Missingno. It HAS to be lv. 0, or it won't work. Capture it. Now use a rare candy on it, and it will evolve into Kangaskhan! I swear this works! I have no idea how.
Cycling Road Without Bicycle
Deposit your bicycle into ASH'S PC and go to cycling road. go nearest you can to the GUARD, only press right! Then I guess you rent a bike!
Stand on Tree
This only works if you have a pokemon that knows cut. Cut a tree. Stand where you cut the tree. Save it. shut your gameboy off. turn it on again and then you will be sitting/standing on the tree.
Up and B
1.Catch a Pokemon as usual.
2. When the ball explodes, hit and hold the B button
3. Hold until the second shake, and then let go, if it goes to the second shake. If it doesn't, weaken it more.You should catch it, but it doesn't work everytime.
Move Items
If you go into your ITEM hold SELECT on an item you will be able to move your item up or down one space.
Hidden Items
Rare Candy: In cerulean city, in the house where a man tells you how badges work, behind his house, at the far side of the bricks, walk to the wall on the left, then walk 6 bricks to the right, press A and you've found a RARE CANDY.
go to viridian city, go to the guy who shows you how to use a pokeball, you will see a bush that can be cut down, go and face it, and press A and you will get a potion
When you start the game go to the PC in your house, go to ASH or whatever your name is and withdraw. There will be a potion there.
Old man on roof
Go to Cinnabar Island.
Surf up right coast
Now get out of the water so you are on the right side of the Cinnabar Gym's door
Now walk to the right. If you don't have the key, there should be a man on the roof!
Easy Casino Coins
For this trick you need to do the Missingno trick on a Nugget and then sell a lot of them. BUT not all of them, because you might need them another time. Then go to the Game Corner. Instead of using the slot machines just go to the guy that you buy coins from and just keep buying them until you have all you need to get what you need from next door.
Weak Pok�mon
If you don't want to fight then have a pokemon with CUT and cut down grassy areas.
WARNING: It doesn't work in Viridian Forest.
Oddish/Mew Trick
If you get a Mew and teach it Substitute, he will create one, but every time you use one of his attacks he will return ONLY IN THE SHAPE OF ODDISH he will not know any of Oddish's attacks. I was fighting a Ditto with my Mew and Ditto transformed into Oddish
Invisible PC
Go to the hotel in celadon city.
Go all the way to the middle of right wall.
Face up (you go forward don't worry)
Press A and there will be an invisible PC!!
You can use it as it was a regular PC!
Teleporting old man
You can play a second trick with the old man. Go to the guard station just east of Celadon (the one that leads to the bike trail) without a bike. Go down far enough to where you can't see the guy. Walk out and that guy will talk to you as usual. You'll see the old man in the back room teleport to the part where you are!
Get Missingno In Battle mode Without Having It In Either Game!!!
Well, this works for Red/Blue and Yellow. In Battle Mode, when you're battling another human player, fiddle with the game link until the opponent and you are battling but one of you will be one turn behind! So, if you have Pidgeot, and the opponent has Pikachu, you choose Quick Attack and Pikachu faints, but on the other's game Pikachu is still alive! On your game, the other player sends out another Pok�mon without sending it out! The game does it by itself! The opponent's third attack may be Seismic Toss, but it's fainted in your game so it will use the third attack that other Pok�mon has (i.e. you're battling opponent's Machoke, but their game says they have Pikachu out). But all the Pok�mon the person who's game's messed up has to battle all sleeping or poisoned Pok�mon! Eventually, one of you will run out of Pok�mon on one game, so you'll fight an asleep Farfetch'd (which the game freezes on) or a poisoned Voltorb (which is asleep, but something happens.) The HP bar is very long, but they're asleep and can't wake up so they're doomed. Then, beat the Voltorb, and...MISSINGNO, in all its appears. Beat it (its asleep) and you'll go back to the Colosseum. (The other guy's still controlling the attacks by number, see example above!) So you can't go back in because you'll get a PLEASE WAIT and the other guy's still waiting for you to choose your attack. But you'll have to reset it, and the other guy will have to turn his game off. But hey, this is the real CURSE OF MISSINGNO!!!
Note: It may take a bit of unplugging of the game link. And no memory is deleted with this glitch.
Codes that don't work.
Catch Mew
Don't beat the SS Anne.
Get someone to trade a Pok�mon with CUT and one with SURF to you.
Go to the SS Anne and before entering you'll come to an overhead view of the boat.
SURF to the side and you will come ashore and find a Truck.
Use STRENGTH to move the Truck and you'll find Mew.
Get Mew
Catch all 150 Pok�mon
Talk to the guy in Celadon city that's in the large building.
He will give you Mew.
Nope, this doesn't work, all he gives you is a Diploma.
Note: This is for the American Version. In the Japanese he gives you Mew.
