Just Ducky:  Oh this is juuust ducky, juuust ducky!  Ms. Mary has three bookshelves side by side in the living room.  We started out living on top of them.  We had our eyes on the fourth bookshelf across the room but Miss Liberty Melody Barbara Hope Francis was on top of it, and she is a baby who doesn't know how to pet nice.  (Oh, that is juuust ducky, juuust ducky!).  When Ms. Mary moved some books around, and hauled others to the thrift store, she ended up with an empty shelf.  We moved in.  She didn't argue.  Then she deliberately gave us another shelf because the family wasn't getting any smaller.  Juuust ducky!  Juuust ducky!  It was nice to be able to spread my wings a bit.  And then we started getting crowded again.
Mr. Valentine:  Not long ago, Ms. Mary cleaned out two shelves in the bookshelf we sit on top of, and then she went to bed.  I think she had forgotten about our last takeover.  When she got up in the morning, the shelves were no longer empty.  Sam had stationed a large squad of smaller bears on the shelves and there they sat, looking up at Ms. Mary.  She knew we had been getting a bit crowded up on top, so -- after a standoff and serious negotiations -- she finally agreed to let us occupy the territory until she needed the shelves.  We rearranged ourselves to make everyone comfortable during the occupation.  We certainly like having more room!
Occupied shelf of the left bookshelf.
Occupied shelf of the middle bookshelf.
Mr. Vegas:  This is awesome!  Look at us!  TaraBear, look!  Lex, wake up and look at this!  Everybody, look what we did!  Oh, I'm going to stay up all night looking at this.  As soon as Ms. Mary goes to bed, I'm going to put this on the computer and look at it all night long.  Oh, I'm so happy my little puffy blue feet are just dancing!
