LIKES PART 1

There are way more things I like than dislike.  I don't want to seem like a grumpy guss!  Here is a list of good things:

-
Jonathan Rhys Meyers...mmmmmm.  Probably my favorite actor in the universe (right now).  There are rumors that Mr. Meyers will have a part in the upcoming (to be released in 2004) live action version of "The Last Unicorn." (one of my favorite books and favorite movies EVER).  JRM is from Ireland and is 25 years old.  He has also stared in Velvet Goldmine (another fav), The BBC miniseries Gormenghast, Titus, and will be in the upcoming film version of "Prozac Nation" (a very good book, but not necessarily a favorite.  we don't know what to think about the movie yet.)
SO yes, JRM, I honestly could pontificate on the glory that is he for hours, days, maybe even weeks....ahhh. His eyes, his lips, hair (which happens to be very versatille)  his body...ok, that's enough, I am going to need a break now......He is beautiful, but that is not the only reason for my absolute enchantment with him.  He has a presence...a spark that very few people have.  He is very talented and I think in time he could be one of the best.  He also takes very interesting and diverse roles, which I admire very much.  I will set up a link so everyone can bask in the light which is JRM presently.

-
Teletubbies. I know many people hate them, but I think they are fun.  They look spongey and huggable.  I like their voices and the dorky little things they do.  I don't think they are even on tv anymore.  sad.

- Peggy Sue Got Married
I don't think I had actually sat and watched that movie since I was a child.  I liked it then, but didn't really understand it.  I watched it last night and it really moved me.  It made me very sad, yet happy I have had the experiences that allow me to relate to that movie.  Silver linings, I guess....maybe.

-
Thelma Louise and Judy. You know who you are....I think we need to hit up blockbuster for old times sake some time very soon.

-
My house and the beings that dwell there.  All 12 of us.

-
BHLBTara.  you will all see it soon enough~ you won't stop laughing for weeks.

-
Sunday mornings, sleeping in

- Ms. PacMan. You can't beat that rush of getting the power pellets and having a ghost right on your ass and then turning around and gnawing his blue self.  I really don't like video games too much, but Ms. PacMan rocks my world.  I also like her shoes on the picture on the side of the arcade game.  Pretty hot shoes.

-
Daylillies

- Maxfield Parrish, I really do think he is my all time favorite visual artist

-
WAKING LIFE. SEE THIS MOVIE NOW!

-
chocolate

- crayons
My favorites to draw with were brick red, maroon, forest green and black.  My favorites to look at were melon, twilight, mint green, sky blue, and carnation.  I wonder what that says about me?

- RAIN!!!!!!
we finally have some!

- The feeling I get when a book is so good, I have to pace myself because I don't want to finish it and leave the characters.

- People that understand the last feeling.

-
Anne Rice I miss her. I need another VC very very soon.  One every few years is not enough.  Her mind must be like one of those 5000 piece puzzles and every book she writes creates a small section of the big picture.

_ Patti Smith Dancing Barefoot...

the crying game. I have loved this movie since I was 14.  It is a completely irrational love story, but shows a love so true and caring.  It gives my heart hope even though my mind doubts there is really anything to hope for...

-KEVIN SMOLEY! he hates me, but I LOVE HIM!!!!  I will buy him a soda any day of the week, not just on his 21st birthday!

-Mr. Fancypants, Ms. Fancypants and Fancypants Jr.  those names need no explanation.

- FLUFFY PUFF MARSHMELLOWS (they're fluffity, there puffity 12345678910.  also good for s e c r e t    e a t i n g or sleepytime)

- RAMBOSHAY, roshambo

- Devil Dogs by Drakes.  simply the best snack junk ever made.

- Have I mentioned JRM?

- Sunshine
