         Amy Anderson got out of bed slightly early that Saturday morning. She put on a denim jean jacket and light purple skirt, grabbed her communicator, and left for the ice cream parlor, where she was supposed to meet her fellow scouts. She was on her way when she bumped into a very attractive teenage guy.
      "Oh, I'm so sorry!" said Amy, when she looked up, "I didn't see you there."
"It's okay," he said. "I'm Alan. I'm new at Crossroads High." "I'm Amy," she said. She didn't want to be late, so she ended the conversation: "Well, see ya' Monday!" she said and ran off.
      She arrived, late, at the ice cream parlor. "Hi guys, sorry I'm late! I met this guy named Alan. He said he's new at Crossroads," Amy said when she found the table the four other scouts were seated at. She sat down next to Mina. "Was he cute?" Mina asked as she turned to face Amy. "Well, I guess!" she replied and blushed. "Well, I guess we'll see him on Monday!" Lita said, with an excited look on her face. (Hey, I wonder if he looks like my ex-boyfriend? Lita was thinking.) "Except when I got close to him, my intuition felt kind of odd, and it wasn't a good odd."
         "Do you think he's from the Negaverse?" Raye asked, narrowing her eyes. "I hope not, cause he sounds awful cute!" Mina said, her eyes glowing. "Sorry Mina, I think he is." Amy said right before she ordered a vanilla malt. Next
