| That Monday was a peculiar day. Nothing seemed to go quite right... something always seemed strange. As if everyone had a hunch that the end of the world was coming. It was really cold that day in Tokyo, and everyone seemed grouchy and moody. The teachers had announced two new students, Alan and Anne, who were brother and sister. They looked a lot alike. Alan had dark blonde hair, and Anne had brown, yet their faces were almost identical. Walking to Raye's temple that afternoon, Amy strangley and suddenly felt very sick. She sat down on a nearby park bench and hit a button on her communicator to call all of the scouts. "Guys? Are you there?" said Amy into her wrist-watch. "Oh, hi, Amy! What up?" Serena said into hers. She was reading a manga and crunching some potato chips. "I will be late for our studying at Raye's today. I'm not feeling very well." Amy responded. "Well, okay," said Serena, "I'll (crunch) tell the other scouts (crunch)." "Okay, bye!" Amy said and shut off the conversation. Amy was then approached by Anne. "Hey, you're Amy, right? I've heard a lot about you. You're like, a genius?" Anne asked her. "Well, I guess you could say that," said Amy, modest as always.
