| The characters in Haibane-renmei are different, in my opinion from other anime series. Care is taken to give each character there own individual personalities, quirks and of course, flaws. Yoshitoshi ABe claims that each Haibane is based on something he has experienced in his lifetime, which give them a very personal feel. And I am so very happy that he has shared them with us and made this beautiful anime. |
