Don't forget that for multiple braids, trying them together at the top with a bandanna works really well and looks really good - especially if you have thick hair.
Take the bunches with or without tying them at the top, twist them tightly into 'ropes' then twist the two around each other and bind at the end with a band.
Ok so I don't know the proper name for this. Take a Half Tail and then scoop the remaining hair into a full pony tail. This is great if you're in the awkward stage as you can have a full pony tail while still tying in your bangs.
Variations include braiding the rest of the ponytail or placing bands at any points along the tail.
This should tie in even the shorter bangs.
