05/06/2007 United 0 - 2 Rowdies United Old Bhoys got the first loss of the season losing 2-0 to the Rowdies. The Rowdies only had a few real chances during the game, but they finished them well. Old Bhoys controlled much of the play and had plenty of chances to score, especially in the second half, but the Rowdies defense and keeper played well. |

04/05/2007 United 7 - 2 Strangers United Old Bhoys continued the winning ways, but gave up the first two goals allowed so far this season. Goals by Twele, Bran and Lynch gave United Old Bhoys a 3-0 halftime lead against a short-handed Strangers squad (10 men). Even though the Strangers were playing with 10 men, they put up a good effort throughout and were able to score two nice goals late in the second half. Twele got his hat trick in the second half with two nice goals, while Gilman and Brereton finished the scoring for United Old Bhoys. |

03/25/2007 United 8 - 0 Colts Our fifth win in a row and fifth clean sheet. The first goal came early in the match after the Colt's keeper mis-kicked a clearance and it went right to Jose Yataco at the top of the box. He one-timed it back into goal. Unfortunately, the Colts keeper injured himself on the play and had to leave the game. The second goal came on a Shawn Brereton cross to the 6 yard box which was directed in by Scott Melton. The third goal came at the end of the half after a nice through ball into the box by Lynchie found Chris Twele who slotted it home. The second half was a barrage of goals by United Old Bhoys as Scott Melton had two to complete his hat trick and one goal each by Patrick Kabano, Gary Allen, and Lynchie rounded out the scoring. |

03/18/2007 United 3 - 0 Survivors Another strong performance and clean sheet. After missing several great opportunities in the first 15 minutes, United Old Bhoys took a 1-0 lead after a Shaun Gilman goal. Lynchie, who was all over the field, played a perfect through ball for Gilman's finish. Chris Twele got the second goal just before half to make it 2-0 at the break. 03/11/2007 United 3 - 0 Fire The brothers Bran took care of all the scoring today for United. John Bran turned in a Shawn Brereton cross after 10 minutes to give us the lead. Near the half hour, Brereton was again involved, breaking free from the defense and getting tripped up just inside the box for a penalty. Eric Bran stepped up and knocked it home from the spot for a 2-0 lead at the half. Shortly after the break, Eric steered another Brereton cross to make the final score 3-0. |

03/04/2007 United 3 - 0 Desoto United Another good result for United Old Bhoys. Eric Bran tallied the first goal with a good strike in the box early in the first half. It was a back and forth game for most of the half with Desoto getting a few decent chances at goal. Curt Rogers made a good save from a Desoto player's shot from in the box and Scott Melton cleared a sure goal off the line from the resulting corner kick. Shawn Brereton added a second goal on a breakaway about 15 minutes into the second half. Desoto had another great opportunity to score in the second half, but Curt Rogers came up big again in goal to preserve the clean sheet. Eric Bran added his second goal of the game off a through ball from Scott Melton with about 10 minutes left to make the final score 3-0. |

02/22/2007 United 5 - 0 Rowdies A fine start to the season, and a welcome one after drawing five times in our initial campaign. Rowdies started with 12 players, but lost one to an awkward looking injury mid-way through the first half. Old Bhoys first two goals came rapid succession around 15 minutes...Shaun Gilman, fresh out of semi-retirement, calmly curled a left-footed shot around the keeper to the far post to open the scoring. Eric Bran claimed the next two goals, the first coming from a well-directed header, the second coming toward the end of the half, poked past the keeper after being put clear of the offside trap. In the second half, Shawn Brereton caught the keeper cheating off his line, and nailed a 35-yard free kick just over his hand and under the crossbar. Cathel Lynch (Lynchie) closed the scoring turning in a Patrick Kabano cross off the end line. |
