As we get older, times change.The way things used to be done are being forgotten. There's always a faster and better way of doing things (matter of opinion.) Before there were KFC's, your mother probably killed your fried chicken dinner. Before cordless & mobile phones, there were heavy rotary dial phones tethered to the wall, limiting your ability to walk very far; only as far as the cord would allow...not to mention "party lines."
How did a person live...
...before cell phones, T.V.'s, pagers, microwaves, computers, convenience stores & fast food restaurants? No, they haven't been around since the invention of hamburger. Kids today have never tasted a pancake made from scratch & the only waffles they've ever ate are the frozen kind. So much has and will change.
Our endeavor is to compile memories from around the world from all backgrounds, together, for future generations to read first hand accounts of the way things were. The world has become a massive race to have things faster. Convenience is #1. MemoriesAgo memories takes you back in time to show how people lived as technology took over, from the people who lived them.
