The contests are open to ALL Morton East math students.
Each round of 5 problems is published to allow at least 4 weeks to solve. Students have a full month to work out their solutions.
Students are to submit solutions to at least two of the problems each round.
5 points are earned for the complete solution of each probem leading to a possible of 100 points for the year.
Participating in the USAMTS is a way to qualify for the American Invitational Mathematics Examination (AIME).
