NOTHING WITHOUT YOU
CHAPTER 3
It seemed like hours passed,as I walked these city streets. Millions of questions cram my head. Did I mean what I said? Or was it just out of anger? Would I ever go back? What would they think of me? Has Brian woken up yet? Did they tell him? What did they say? What would he think of me? Questions building up in my mind. Yet none answered. What if he doesn't make it? What if they lose him,while I'm gone? Should I go back? No,I can't. I can't see my bestfriend loosing his life in front of my eyes. I just can't. Drops of rain fall. Yet nothing in the world matters anymore. Soaked. Shivering. I'm so cold. My body is numb. Is it because ofthe pain I feel,or is it the rain,that's falling endlessly on my body. No one else is in sight. I'm the only one,walking in the cold dark streets at early hours. It's pitch black. No lights on the streets. Nothing open. Just me. Someone who the world doesn't matter. I can't take it,my knees weaken, I drop to the ground and scream in pain. Pain that surrounds my heart. I scream out to god. My horrifying screams fill the air. Sobs rock my body. 'Take me now,just please god,please take me now' I struggle to breath. My screams die down,from the pain that filled my throat. Just me. Just me rocking back and forth,hugging my self tight,trying to keep warm, from the freezing air that surrounded my body. 'Please just take me now,' I whispered into the night.
