Visit to New Paltz, NY and New York City
After the 2006 IWWG "Remember the Magic" conference ended, Megan and me traveled to New Paltz, New York with my good friend Katie where we spent a couple of days.
Katie, Giovanna and Megan in front of the historical stone houses on "hugenot Street in New Paltz, from the early 1700's.  Like last year in NYC, Megan and Giovanna totally connected.
Cool, historic "old" houses in New Paltz.  We walked down to the houses and checked them all out, at least from the outside.

we also checked out a mega old graveyard by an old stone church with gravestones dating back to the 1600's.

Downtown New Paltz was also really cool with stores with names such as "The Groovy Blueberry" and the "Rock and Snow" Shop (above).  New Paltz reminded me a lot of a European town.

On Sunday morning, Megan and I took a bus from New Paltz to New York City where we met my long-time friend Samuel, who used to live in San Francisco, and Mr. O.
When we got off the bus in New York City at Port Authority around 10:30 Sunday morning, we met my friend Samuel at Starbucks.  We wandered up and down streets close to Times Square and several off Broadway theaters, even though it rained off and on.
Samuel & Me -- good friends reunited!
Samuel & Megan who thought Samuel and Mr. O were "cool."  (this is quite a compliment, especially for Mom's friends.
