| Week 28-Some experts say that the baby begins to dream now but I wonder about what! She is weighing between 2 1/2 pounds and 3 pounds. She is awake and sleeps at regular intervals. She gets hiccups now. Happy 7 months! We began doing the nursery. It is painted and chair rail has been put up. It looks great! She has been very active lately. I feel as if she is doing gymnastics inside! I am really starting to show now. I came down with a cold this week. Hopefully it will not last long! |
| Week 29-The baby is now 17 inches long and about 10 1/2 inches crown to rump. She weighs nearly 3 pounds now. Her head is able to turn regularly now. She is forming chubby layers and growing strong. Now until 37 weeks she will on average gain a 1/2 pound a week. We have very frequent and vigorous movements now. Her kicks are getting very hard and sometimes hurt. The crib is put together and the changing table/dresser is in the nursery. It is starting to come together now. Our dog feels it is his new room and we constantly catch him sleeping in the nursery! |

| Week 30-The baby is close to 10.8 inches crown to rump and 17 inches head to toe. She is weighing in at a little over 3 pounds now. The baby begins doing hiccups frequently to help themselves learn to breathe. Everything is going really well. I feel great! Still walking alot. She is very active and recognizes Jim's voice when he talks. She will kick as soon as he comes in a room and begins talking. It is neat! Had another sonogram this week at the doctor's office. They confirmed she is 100% girl! Yeah, considering everything we have is for a girl! Had a wonderful baby shower this weekend! We got so many great things from everyone! It is nice to see how eveyone is so excited about this little one coming along as we are! Gained 4 pounds this month! |
