Forever Love
by Dreamdragon
I can't walk alone anymore.
The wind of time is too strong.

A drunk Yoshiki stumbled out of the bar into the pouring rain.  He was instantly drenched as he stared at his blurred surroundings. Without thinking, his feet began to lead him towards a place that he always tried to avoid.
As he walked, the rain continued to pound onto his thin body.  The unbuttoned shirt did nothing to protect him from the chilling bite of the autumn wind.  Faded jeans hung low on hipbones as they became waterlogged.  He barely heard the squish-squash of his shoes as he walked through puddles.
In minutes he found himself in front of the cemetery.

Ah, being hurt....
....is something I should be used to, but now.....

Images of Toshi leaving the band, the last live, and more flooded his confused brain.  They replayed over and over and over as he opened the gate and entered onto the familiar path.
He tried to control the raging emotions within him.  Very slowly he was suceeding.  He suceed only to crumple to the cold ground in front of a single, special tombstone.

Ah, hold it the way it is,
my still tearful heart,

He lay there on his side, arms wrapped around his starved middle.  Tears mingled with the rain.  Slick grass and muddy earth cradled him while he cried his eyes out silently, his heart empting itself to no one.

in this time of continuous changes,
if there is unchanging love.

Faintly he could hear the world continuing on with its life.  'They don't understand.  They can go on with their lives as if nothing happened.  They still change as time goes by, but I..... but I stay the same....' he thought bitterly.
The ring on his hand caught the lights of a passing car, placing his attention to it instead of the hate boiling in his mind.  He brought it up to his face.  Half closed eyes admired the plain gold band on his left hand.
A simple gift from a wonderful person.
"I love you," he whispered to the one buried underneath his prone body.  Cold lips kissed the golden circle.

Will you hold my heart?
Please accept my tears.
Its already about to break -- all my heart.

In his drunken haze, he imagined strong arms around him, holding him close.  Warm lips were pressed to his neck inbetween whispered promises.  A soft, gentle hand rested on his cheek, thumb brushing away the salty tears.
Yoshiki could feel his heart breaking into even smaller pieces as the memories overtook him.

Forever love, forever dream,
Only my overflowing feelings....
....violently and sorrowfully fill time.

The rain and wind abused his wasting body.  The memories rendered him immobile, paralyzed him to the spot on which he lay upon.  He didn't notice the passage of time.  Only the internal pain and longing filled his world.

Oh, tell me why!
All I see is blue in my heart.

'Why?  Why?  WHY?' repeated continuously in his head.  Fresh tears replaced the old.  The phantom hand left his face.
The vague sensation of being lifted registered as he cried harder.  The strong arms supported his light form like a sleepy child.  Heat radiated off of the body holding him, returning life to his numb body.  He sighed and closed his eyes, welcoming the blissful darkness.

Will you stay with me?
Until the wind passes by,
they overflow again -- all my tears.

When he reopened his eyes, he was in a darkened room.  Cool satiny sheets clung to his wet body.  The hands left him and a whimper escaped his throat as the warm body went away.
"Shhh," a deep voice soothed, a hand reappearing to brush the hair off his damp forehead.
Yoshiki refused to speak.  He was afraid that if he spoke, it would break the illusion and he would be alone once more.  He closed his deep chocolate eyes as he  imagined that the one caring for him ws Hide.
The warm hands traveled down his frozen face and neck to reat on his chest jsut above his beating heart.  They took his shirt and slowly pulled it off.  Then the hands busied themselves with his pants.
Once he lay naked on the bed, a warm body covered in silky flesh joined him between the sheets.  The arms returned to his waist, pulling his shivering figure closer.
     "Yo-chan."

Forever love, forever dream.
Stay by me like this.

"Yo-chan... Open your eyes, Yo-chan," the voice whispered breathlessly.
Hesitantly Yoshiki did as the voice comanded.  His teeth chattered as he tried to speak the man's name.  "H-h-h-hi-de...."  A shaking hand, chilled by weather and now shock, buried itself in the mass of pick hair before him.  "Ho-how?"
Hide smiled and shrugged his shoulders.  "Don't know and really don't give a damn."  He stroked Yoshiki's hair back and placed a kiss upon the bared forehead.
