Hold my heart that shivers at dawn.
Oh stay with me!

Yoshiki involuntarily shivered as Hide caressed his body, returning heat to his blood.  "Stay with me?  Please?" he pleaded, his voice breaking the silence.
Hide rolled on top of him.  He planted feather-light kisses all over his face and neck.  "I will never, ever leave you."

Ah, I don't care if everything ends....
....in this endless night.

His world melted as Hide moved the kissed down to his chest.  Pants and moans filled the dark room as the two rejoined after being seperated for so long.

Ah, of the things to lose,
I have nothing but you.

The only thing he could focus on was the man above him.  The alcohol left his mind and allowed the cobwebs to dissenagrate.

Forever love, forever dream.
Stay by me like this.
Hold my heart that shivers at dawn.

With a sigh, Hide collapsed ontop of the trembling Yoshiki.  He pulled the delicate musician to his chest, resting the slighter man's head over his heart.  He listened as Yoshiki's breathing slowed as his heart calmed.  Arms found their way around his neck.  "Yo-chan....." he whispered.  No answer.
Yoshiki smiled as the Sandman claimed him.

Ah, will you stay with me?
Until the wind passes by,
stay by me more than anyone else.

Hide watched the slumbering Yoshiki.  It was amazing the difference between the awake Yoshiki and the sleeping Yoshiki.  All of the stress from work, mourning, and everything in the middle dissappeared to leave an angel in its place.
The sun rose above the skyline, basking Los Angeles in its blazing embrace.  Yoshiki moaned when the light hit his closed eyes.  He buried his face into the pillow.  One lazy arm reached out for the person lying next to him.
     Nothing.
Sleep-fogged eyes snapped open as he pushed his weary body up.  Glacing to where Hide lay just hours ago showed an indent and the sheets were still warm.  The smell of breakfast invaded his nostrils.  Rumbling emerged from the depth of his stomach, demanding food.  Yoshiki grabbed his robe and put it on as he padded softly into the kitchen.
Bright sunlight illuminated every room.  The windows had been opened and a crisp fall breeze left a fragrant smell to the quiet house.  When Yoshiki reached the kitchen, he froze.
On the table sat the daily newspaper, a plate of food, and a cup of steaming coffee.
Yoshiki plopped down at the table and picked up the fork.  Under the utensil was a snow white note.  He sat the fork down to read the note.

'Yo-chan,
I'm sorry I can't watch you wake up.  Don't worry, I'll stay with you.

   Aishiteru,
       Hide'

Yoshiki stared at the note until he felt a tear hit his hand.  'No.  I will not cry anymore,' he resolved.
He sat the note down, picked up the fork and newspaper, and proceed to eat his first real breakfast after Hide's 'death'.

Forever love, forever dream.
I can't walk any further.

Later that day found Yoshiki wandering the crowded streets of the city of angels. His mind settled on no particualr thought as he meandered through the mass of people.  He had to get to the recording studio where a band was warming up.  He increased his pace.
Without warning, a random person bumped into him, causing him to fall to the pavement.  Gingerly he got to his knees as the one who ran into him continued on his merry way.  He rested his hands on his thighs with his head bowed, looking for all the world like he was praying.
     "Yo-chan."
Yoshiki's head whipped up, searching for the owner of the voice.
There ahead of him stood Hide in his deep pink pleather suit and gold guitar with the red kisses on it.  He smiled at the kneeling musician, waving his hand for him to follow.
Yoshiki scrambled to his feet.  Hurridly he followed the ghostly guitarist.
