I know you must be screaming for updates, sorry.. I finished the short 'Two Sides' you can watch it online see OnlineFilms! Do you remember back in January I went to three tapings of tvprogramme 'Jong'? Well on 20th of June the episode of 'Jong' (finally) aired on the TV (where I sit in the background), you can still catch the episode online at uitzendinggemist.nl It was about young people who can't hear very well and who are deaf and how are they living with that. I found the episode very interesting so if you're bored check it out! A few days ago I met Tom Cruise!! He was really nice, took the time to meet his fans, sign autographs and take pictures. Sadly I don't have a picture with Mr Cruise himself but I am on the frontpage of paper Telegraaf and caught myself in episodes of RTLBoulevard, Shownieuws and a small clip on TMF! I took some pics of him will post them online soon... I really need to update my photo section, since I have made some cool pics... check back soon...

I made some cool pictures at the FBK Games last weekend. I photographed Gregory Sedoc, Caimin Douglas and Bram Som plus some other athletes! It was fantastic to be there and will post pics soon... 'La Dance'-project is stressing, Ephraim and I are both working hard on it, it needs to be finished before 8th of June!! Yikes! ...About 'Filet', lots of the shorts I made were broadcasted the last few weeks. I don't even know which ones are in which episodes because I don't receive Omroep Zwolle on my telly! But every episode of 'Filet' will be put online so everyone in the world can watch the most greatest show on earth 'Filet' haha!

A part of the shoot of 'La Dance', part of DansSelect is done! I and Ephraim will make it into a wicked short experimental film! Tomorrow I'm going to do the photography stuff which is taking pictures of the famous Caimin Douglas! He's a professional atlete and one of my pictures may end up on a CALENDER!! How cool is that! I will also attend the FBK Games this weekend so I can take more pics of him. Upcoming Friday the production of 'Two Sides' begins, can't wait, that will become a nice film too...

My upcoming projects are in talks, maybe I'm in trouble, maybe not. I don't have an idea about a music video so I hope I can make 'BlackJack Game' instead. I'm reallly excited about it since I know what style I want... 'Soundless Scream" (=working title) is a project that I wanted to make by myself but had trouble not knowing where to begin or how to produce it and make it real. I sat around the table with my teacher Erik Franssen and he really liked my screenplay and asked me if he could direct it. I said 'yeah ok'.. So I'm really curious how he will make the short film! .... DansSelect Project will be cool too....

I am not a person that keeps a top 10 list because I find that impossible, I like a lot of films and it changes from time to time but for now... this is my filmliefde...

Sorry it's been a month since I last updated but I've been ill. 'Het Zwerversleven' part 1 is finished! We will be shooting part 2 and 3 soon. 'Pizzaboy' is also in production. Last two days Bart and I did a shooting for a company film 'ISS'. I did the grip, seriously we have made some nice shots! Bart will edit it and the deadline is mid May so... Sadly today I was booked for an extra-actingjob in a beercommercial but I needed to cancel because of the company film. But who knows what is yet to come... If you have any ideas or a short story that I can make into a short film, please send me an email. I would like to make a new short film, preferred a short with no dialogue, not more than 3 actors and a new look at the world... Thanks... Don't forget to watch Fikret's film Straight Outta Turkiye! It will be broadcasted on MTV April 30rd (Queen's Day) at 6:30 PM!!

'Het Zwerversleven' is in post-production! Because of this short film I had my first unofficial driving carlesson! Haha it was wicked! Other short film 'Pizzaboy' is in pre-production, I'm working on the script, visuals and locations... Also I'll do some cool professional photography stuff upcoming months, but I can't say what yet..

Last Friday the very first episode (pilot) of 'Filet' broadcasted on regional TVchannel Omroep Zwolle! Unfortunately I can't receive the channel so I haven't seen it live on TV. However I have seen the first episode before it was broadcasted and I found it very funny! Tomorrow we'll shoot our first episode (out of three) of short film 'Het Zwerversleven' which will be part of an episode of 'Filet'. I'm excited!! So all ya people living in Zwolle, be sure to watch 'Filet' every Friday at 10:00 PM and Saturday 10:30 PM on Omroep Zwolle!

A few days ago I visited the set of 'Scheepjongens van Bontekoe', the upcoming feature film of Steven de Jong. Sadly I didn't saw Steven anywhere but I did saw actor Thomas Acda walking around in costume haha. I think I picked the wrong day since it was raining and it seemed they weren't shooting. Anyways here are some pics.

Today I finished editing 'Nietmachine' it's online here!! ... The short film 'Matters of Life and Death' of Joseph Mazzello has been accepted into The Method Fest, a filmfestival in California. This will be the festival premier. I'm credited in this film on the special thanks. If you live in California be sure to check it out. I know this will be a great movie and it won't dissapoint you... I just got back from Amsterdam! I met Hugh Grant! These pics are made by me and NPS.

I made a short video about a stapler(!?!) ('Nietmachine') and I used the music of my friend Bryan Vink (B-Chill). My classmates said it was pretty cool so I hope you'll like it too. Soon online. Today I assisted Fikret with a promo for TVprogramme 'Filet'. It will be a totally awesome promo!

The VIPparty with Bo & Monica and TopStars was great, the kids were all excited. To be honest, I had never heard of TopStars before and I had never seen their own TVserie but I loved the songs they sang. Three songs are stuck in my head and I keep singing them. It was fun to shoot. I traveled to Hilversum to deliver our cut on tape and a few things needs to be changed so Bart and I will work on that tomorrow... While I walked towards the exit in Hilversum I saw Paul Rabbering. One of my favorite shows is 'Wie is de Mol and I hope he wins! I found out that he grew up in the same neighbourhood as I did. I thought it'd be nice to mention this... 'Pauze' has reached number #2 in the top 10 at the VKIFFR channel on shoobidoo.nl!! With 1122 views!!! YEAH!! WHOO-HOO!

Yesterday I went to the taping of 'De Wereld Draait Door'. I was sitting at the front row close to all the guests such as Floortje Dessing, Ursel de Geer and Daniel Bossevain. Host Claudia was funny and she gave me one of the first copies of our goverment (I don't know the name right now). I did had a 1 second of fame on TV and I made a pic of it see below. You can watch the show online at uitzendinggemist.nl ... Speaking of 1 seconds I read that all the producers credits of 'The 1 Second Film') on imdb.com have been removed! I feel really sad for Niels because I sort of talked him into it to be a producer as well. Now he won't get a credit on imdb. I can understand the point of view of imdb because over 7,000 people are producing it and to list each and every single person is a lot of work. But many of the producers are dissopointed and I hope they will put all the credits online again... Upcoming Friday I will shoot a concert of TopStars. I need to do some prep now actually... next week I hope to shoot the trailer. I'm quite busy I still hadn't got the time to e-mail everyone back who voted or sent me an e-mail. Sorry but thanks for voting and I will mail you soon!

Yesterday I told Niels that it is our goal to be in the top 10 of most viewed videos on the online filmcompetition and as of now we reached number #5 with 755 views rating 7.54!!! WHOO-HOO!! THANKS EVERYONE FOR VOTING! Sadly we just heard that we didn't won the first prize. But we'd like to thank everyone who watched and voted for us! Thanks a lot! Thank you! Two deadlines, two movies both on the same day. 'Omroep Zwolle' and 'Pauze' is finished! Whoo-hoo! 'Omroep Zwolle' is not my cup of tea, never was and never will be. I hope the client will be satisfied with what we've made. We really put a lot of work and energy in it. Tomorrow the client will see our film, so... 'Pauze' is THE fastest and probably THE most stressed short film I've ever worked on. Within 10 days we made a movie! 50 views so far yeah keep watching and tell all your friends! The shoot of 'Pauze' went great! All actors were nice to work with, they all worked hard and did a fantastic job. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! Me and Niels can be very proud of ourselves. Last Saturday we decided to make this movie so within 8 days we went from an idea to the end of production! It was stressing and guerrilla filmmaking but it was all worth it. In the next few days me and Niels will edit the movie and it will be online before Wednesday! Wish us luck!

A firstgrader designed this cool filmposter with a picture of me in it, it's kinda cool. Sunday the 28th me and Niels will shoot a short called 'Pauze', we are still LOOKING FOR ACTORS AND EXTRAS!! Today I visited the EO (part of Channel 2) and went to three tapings of tvprogramme 'Jong'. It was nice to learn something about EO and see how they made the show. 'Hard Geluk' has been selected to the Almere Filmfestival in Almere (FL) on 20th of January! I can't wait to see the film, I worked on the movie as a production assistant. I'll be attending the filmfestival and I'm looking forward to see everyone again. Hope you can make it too :-)
