About the Author
For those of you who are interested in learning more about me, I have included a brief biography:
I have lived all my life (so far) in Bedford, NH with my parents and two younger brothers. My home church is Bethany Covenant Church in Bedford, and I miss going there when I am at college. I graduated from West High School in 1999, and entered the University of Connecticut that fall. I work for University Catering and in the scene shop in the theatre. Now that the boring stuff is done with...
I can usually be picked out of a crowd because I am the girl with her nose in a book. I spend the majority of my free time (when I have any) reading. I like science fiction, fantasy, mystery, historical fiction, and Christian romance. I also surf the internet (you can see some of my favorite sites on the Links page) and enjoy doing crafts, crosstitch and taking pictures.
I love watching movies and listening to music. Some of my favorite movies are: Star Wars, Casablanca, Ladyhawke, The Flight of Dragons, Ever After, The Matrix, The Princess Bride, Sleeping Beauty... the list goes on. I like almost all kinds of music: country, contemporary Christian, classical, folk, Broadway, oldies, soft rock, jazz, swing, ska, and a capella. I don't like rap, hard rock, or heavy metal.
My family is a big part of my life, and I try to see them as often as possible. On my mom's side I have six aunts and uncles, with 13 cousins among them. On my dad's side, I have two aunts and uncles, and four cousins among them. We usually manage to see everyone at least once a year, if not more, except for the ones on the west coast. We are all very close and rack up terrible phone bills talking to each other.
I like animals, my favorites being dragons, unicorns, cats, and horses. I tolerate dogs. Reptiles don't bother me, although they may startle me if found in unexpected places. My number one requirement for when I find a place of my own is that pets are allowed, so that I can have at least two cats.
I have a wacky sense of humor, and try to avoid depressing books whenever possible. I have been known to burst out laughing in the middle of the sidewalk or on the bus because I remembered a funny line from a favorite book - especially Star Wars or Harry Potter books. For more examples, see my humor links.
That about sums up my life outside of theatre and school, and that information can be found on my other pages. Thanks for letting me introduce myself!
