The Andes Mountains await anxiously for the Hanggliding and Paragliding Pilots that wish to be overwhelmed by its magnificent geography, wilderness and flying conditions.

Next October 11th and 12th 2003, will take place the 1st Free Flight Meeting in the mountainous Village of Farellones , located in the Andes Mountain Chain, Lo Barnechea District, Santiago, Chile.

All the pilots that are interested in experience mountain flying or just have a great and relaxing free flight week end are invited.

Goal: To get to know one of the most beautiful flying sites in Chile, to bring all the pilots (local or outsiders) together in a friendly gathering and basically to officially announce the beginning of the Flying season in Chile�s central area.

The schedule is the following:

Friday the 10th October 2003:
-Morning: Arrival of pilots which have more accesibility during this usually working day, this is not an official meeting day, but it is most likely that the organizers will be in the area for counselling.
-Afternoon: Arrival of the rest of the pilots ; introductory briefing ; wellcome barbecue.

Saturday the 11th October 2003:
-9:30 am Conditions Check
-10:00 am a 1:00 pm Free Flying gentle thermal conditions
-1:00 pm a 5:00 pm Free Flying More demanding piloting skills
-5:00 pm a 7:00 pm Free Flying , soaring, glass off, sled rides.
-8:30 pm a 9:30 pm Safety, weather and forecast briefing.
-9:30 pm a 10:30 pm Main Barbecue.

Sunday the 12th October 2003:
-9:30 am Conditions Check
-10:00 am a 1:00 pm Free Flying gentle thermal conditions, Mini Task planing
-1:00 pm a 5:00 pm Free Flying active piloting conditions, Mini Task completion.
-5:00 pm a 7:00 pm Closure flights, sled rides.
