An Uncommon Heart

Walking an empty path
Oh so lost and alone
Fearful and sad
Dreams all full of tears
Heart empty for to many years
I was wandering in the dark
And there found a man
With an uncommon heart
Tender and kind
Sweet beyond belief
He touched my soul
Stole my heart
Made me laugh till I thought I would die
Showed me a world in which to hope
This simple man
With an uncommon heart

A shadow
Sweeps to the sky
Wings thrown wide
A thing of flame and fright
Screaming through the night
Scales and sharp teeth
Circling the wind curents
Swooping through the sky
Winging his way to worlds unknown
Chasing stars in the night
Bright scales flashing in the light
Claw and fang
Touching times flow
Turning and twisting
Seeking the hights
Wondrus beast of might
Eyes of flame seeing all below
Dives sweeping the planes
Echoing screams of fright
Follow this Dragon's wild flight

A lone figure watching unseen battles a million miles away
She stands on the windswept hilltop
Eyes lifted in silent prayer
Thoughts of him on her lips
Worry in her heart of battles fought and lost
Charging steads
Clashing blade and lance
Untold Bravery of men gone to war
The gray sky blowing the day away
As silent tears fall
She whispers a prayer
May you grant him strength
May he be brave and bring honor upon his name
Standing there in silent prayer
She watches the horizon day after day
Wishing to see
A banner of green and gold
To hear
A trumpet�s blast
Heralding
Brave men ridding dusty trails
Bringing home triumph
Sending thoughts of gentle strength to her warrior
She turns to make her way home
Pauses a moment
She turns to see
A lone horseman
Riding banner held high
Green and gold flying in the autumn air
Catches her breath
Unable to move least he be a vision
From a lonely Maiden�s prayer
He slips to the ground
Tired and wounded
Smiles bravely for this woman he loves
Heart in her eyes as she goes to him
This answer to her maiden�s prayers

Always and Forever

Wandering through this world

I found an unexpected heart

Hiding within my self

Reaching through time and space

Your voice calling to me

Speaking of love's laughter

Then fell through a starfilled night

And into your arms

Finding love with all its wonder

Holding your hand as we speak

I tell you of the promises I will keep

To trust you in all things

To stay forever in your arms

To dream of our future

As I walk within your love

Green eyes smiling

Always into your heart

As the night we greet together

Smiling in dreams so sweet

I hold you close

Forever in laughter

Waking to the mornings light

Your face to see

Yor cheek to touch

Promises from my heart

I will love you

Always and forever

American Tears

Tear streaked faces lifted to the sky
Hearts torn as Americans die
Watching as the world cries
Injustice touching our every day lives
Bringing fear to our peaceful skies
Death brought here
Touched within a man�s hand
Breaking hearts in this our noble land
Hearts lost with nothing to gain
Lives taken every thing changed
Fear touching our hearts
A flag of crimson, white and blue raised
Touching the skies
Voices lifted in one refrain
We will not give up with out a fight
