�I don�t like this game.� Brynn scrunched her nose.
�Only because you�re getting your ass kicked.� Levi pointed out still obviously very into the game.
�Yeah because football is a guys game.�
�So you would do better at a power puff girls game?� he joked.
Brynn grabbed one of the pillows from the couch and threw it at Levi causing him to break his concentration.
�Hey!�
�Alright. You win,� she said giving up. Brynn tossed the control on the floor in front of the T.V. and stood up from the couch.
�Do you want some��
Levi pulled her back down on the couch in mid-sentence. She let out a small squeal when she landed back on the couch in his arms. Levi looked into Brynn�s eyes and was about to make his move and kiss her when his cell phone began to ring. The two laughed and Levi reached for his cell.
�I�m gonna get us drinks,� Brynn said, standing up once again.
She walked into the kitchen and Levi followed her with his eyes the whole way. As she was fixing their drinks she could hear Levi�s conversation. He was talking to someone named Reuben about not picking Sara up from the club. As she walked back into the living room Levi hung up his phone and sat it beside him on the couch. Brynn handed him a glass and she set hers on the glass coffee table in front of them. He took a drink and placed his on the table too.
�Lets see, where were we?�
Brynn straddled his lap and put her hands behind his neck. She was about to move in for a kiss when her telephone rang. She let out a heavy sigh and dropped her head to Levi�s shoulder. Brynn reached over to the table beside the couch and picked up the phone.
�Your timing really sucks Laura,� she said after recognizing the number on the caller i.d.
�What are you up to?�
�Well, I was about to kiss an extremely hot guy before you so rudely interrupted.�
Levi raised an eyebrow and smiled.
�Levi?� Laura questioned.
�Yeah. So if you don�t mind telling me why you called so I can get back to what I was doing.�
�That�s why I called. You have to be the luckiest girl in the world right now.�
�Why is that?� Brynn asked a little confused.
�I�ve been hangin out with a girl named Sara tonight. She said Benji and Joel Madden were her brothers, and that she drug Benji to the Brakish show last week. I didn�t believe her until Joel showed up to take her home.� Laura explained. �So basically your about to make out with a very hot rockstar.�
�Are you serious?� Brynn was almost speechless.
�Completely,� Laura assured her.
�Should I confront him about it?�
�Brynn�ask yourself this. If you do confront him about it will he still make-out with you?�
�Probably not.�
�Well then I definitely would suggest not calling him on it at least until after you you�ve had his tongue in your mouth and yours in his.�
Brynn laughed. �Will do.�
�Call me later with all the passionate details.� Laura joked.
�I will, Bye.� Brynn turned the phone off and placed it back on its charger.
�What was the about?� Levi asked.
�Clint, my ex, was groping one of mine and Laura�s friends after the show tonight. So Laura thinks I should be the one to confront him about how uncool it was,� she lied.
Brynn grabbed Levi�s cell phone and turned it off and then placed it back on the couch. She stood up and reached for his hands.
�Come on,� she instructed him to get up. �Lets go out by the pool�there are no phones out there.�
Levi stood up with a smile on his face and followed Brynn to her back yard. It wasn�t all that big. An in-ground pool took up most of the space and there was hardly any grass due to the brick patio that surrounded it. Levi took a seat in one of the chairs a few feet away from the pool. Brynn sat on his lap facing him, with her legs on either side of his body. She ran her hands down his tattooed arms, and looked at the pictures for a moment. Then her eyes slowly made their way back up to his face. She closed her eyes and leaned in for a kiss. Letting her hands wonder up his chest to his shoulders. The metal from his piercings were cold against her lips, but she didn�t mind. She pulled away a moment later after she noticed he wasn�t kissing her back.
He couldn�t bring himself to kiss her back. He just kept thinking about how he hadn�t been telling her the truth, and how he didn�t want her to be just another one night stand. There was something different about her; he had known that since the second he met her.
The expression on Brynn�s face dropped and she let out a heavy sigh. �I was wrong, he�s not interested.� She thought to herself. She looked down at her hands, which were now intertwined with his. �I can take you home whenever you want, just let me know� she told him.
One side of Levi�s mouth curled up in a half smile. �Your cute when you�re disappointed.�
She looked back up at him. �Kiss me Benji.�
Levi released her hands a pulled her closer, pressing his lips against hers. His hands roamed her torso as he moved his kissing to her neck and then back up to her lips.
She pulled away and rubbed her nose against his. �You are a good kisser Mr. Madden.�
Levi leaned back away from her. �My names Levi.� He reminded her.
�You don�t have to pretend with me Benji. I�m not one of those gold digging groupies,� she said reaching her hand up to his face.
Levi, now filled with anger, stood up causing Brynn to fall back onto the brick patio. She stayed on the ground stunned at Levi�s sudden changer of personality.
�I�m not gonna say I�m Benji just so you can fulfill your fantasy of making out with some famous guy,� he yelled at her.
Brynn watched as Levi walked through the house and heard him go out the front door. She laid back on the patio and looked up at the sky, trying to comprehend what had just happened. 10 minutes later she heard loud music and a car pulling up her drive, then a car door slamming.
He was gone.
