The order of malta
The order of malta is a voluntary organisation. I have been a member for the past nine years. There is both an adult and childrens division children start at the age of ten and remain a cadet until the age of sixteen from the ages sixteen to eighteen they transition into the senior unit(adults) and at the age of eighteen they become seniors.Both cadets and seniors have regional and national competitions on an annual basis.They are tested on their knowledge their initative and their ability to handle situations.They are put against other units which can somethings cause open rivalry.
I have placed in regional and national competitions both in seniors and cadets my favourite win to date was achieveing first place in the footdrill competition (marching) two years ago. In my time in the order of malta I have recieved the award of senior girl.I have also had the honour of becoming my units duty officer This means that I coordinated not only with my unit but with other units and businesses to ensure I not only sent the right people but also that they best quality of care was given.
