The man who started it all. He has produced or directed every single Final Fantasy. It would not be a Final Fantasy without him developing the game, so he will again be the Executive Producer for Final Fantasy 10 and all ffs in the future.He is also busy directing the Final Fantasy Movie, which is due out this summer. I have 2 interviews up on him right now. I will put up news on him as things happen.

Sakaguchi will be honored at the E3 event, at May 11, 2000. He will be inducted into the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences Hall of Fame. Only 2 people have received that honor so far. They are Shigeru Miyamoto(Mario,Zelda) in 1998 and Sid Meier (Civilization)in 1999. Sakaguchi is given the award because of his work on the Final Fantasy series which is the "one of the most recognizable and most enduring video game series in computer and video game history."
