| Located on the historic Allen Farm in Innisfil, Ontario, Stone Horse Farm is the home of quality registered Morgan horses and is owned by John & Lisa Zizovski. Lisa purchased her first Morgan at the age of 11, after reading the classic, "Justin Morgan Had A Horse" by Marguerite Henry. A yearling was probably not the best choice of horse for a young girl to buy, but the incredible disposition of Lazy E's Sazzy Siz resulted in a lifeling bond to this capable breed of horse. In 1989, Lisa traveled to Vermont for a summer internship at the American Morgan Horse Association. That summer job turned into a 13-year career and the challenges of developing programs for AMHA members, clubs, breed promotion, and advertising for The Morgan Horse magazine. A few of the things she is proudest of in that time include producing the Morgan Archive Cards, the Morgan Lineage poster, and the AMHA Club Resource Guide. In 2002, John and Lisa were introduced by a mutual friend. A lifetime city dweller, John had no knowledge of anything equine or rural for that matter. But once again, the Morgans worked their magic. He soon convinced Lisa to relocate from Vermont and they were thrilled to find the old Allen farm was looking for a new owner. The fields around the house were quickly fenced in and John's carpentry skills were kept busy building stalls and dozens of other needs to keep horses and humans content. As family breeders, we produce a limited number of foals and are dedicated to producing Morgans that are family horses first and capable athletes always.
