| Meera Desai Shah was born and raised in Pune, India. Her university studies were in the sciences, and she also has training in Montessori education. She has spent most of her adult life teaching in Memphis, Tennessee. While teaching, she realized that writing books is another way to reach children. Meera is married and has two children. And Then Came Katrina is her first published book. | ||||||||
