Raven, at this point, isn't amused, and apparently decides to get offensive right back in an indiscriminate fashion, against any Wiccan crossing her path, and not just the ones who irritated her. One will look in vain for an innocent party among the early principal parties in this conflict. However, on Raven's behalf, it should be pointed out that she posts a warning that offensive commentary is to follow. People see the warning, and decide to read ahead anyway. Raven is right. Ignore a warning like that, and what is your basis for complaint if you continue reading, and are bothered by what you see? As the late Mike Royko once wrote in response to a letter complaining about the crudeness the writer heard on the Steve Dahl show, back in the 1980s, "If you stick your head into the sewer, do you complain about the smell?". And a sewer is exactly the image many of Raven's subsequent posts bring to mind. Just because one doesn't have cause for anger, that doesn't mean that there is no reason for distaste.
