Dan (Linus):
Dan is from Hamburg, New York and attended Frontier Central High School. His first appearance on stage was as a member of the children's chorus in the Frontier High School production of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" when he was in fifth grade. From there, Dan went on to perform in "Oliver", "Peter Pan", "Number the Stars", "Little Women", and "The Wizard of Oz". He then went on to participate in high school productions of: "Children of Eden", "Footloose", "Les Miserables", and the leading role of Tony in "Copacobana", for which he won the Frontier High School award for "Outstanding Male Vocalist" and "Outstanding Performance in a High School Musical". Along with his school productions, Dan has also performed with the Hamburg Little Theatre in "Scrooge" and "Broadway 2000". He has also performed in "A Night on Broadway", "Ebony", "Scrooge", "A Modern version of A Christmas Carol" and "A Broadway Collection" all with MMD. Dan also wrote the play "The Promise", which MMD performed in November 2006. He placed in the Top 3 Medaille COllege Star Search.
Dan was a member for the Western New York Children's Corus Chamber Choir and traveled extensively performing in England, Ireland, and Scotland, as well as New Orleans. As a member of the Chamber Choir, Dan has had the opportunity to perform with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra at their Holiday Pops concerts. He was the recipient of the "Outstanding Chorister" award for the Chamber Choir.
While being involved in a variety of music and other activities at Frontier, Dan also studied AP Music Theory. He enjoys playing the piano and pennywhistle. He is currently pursuing a degree in Elementary Education, and plans to get his masters degree in Special Education. He plans to eventually get his doctorate in Educational Administration. He is a summer employee of BOCES, and also works in the admissions office as an admissions ambasador and counselor assistant. When Dan is not performing, he enjoyes spending time with his girlfriend Becky and hanging out with friends.
