STODDERT-Sunday, March 26th, 1876, at 8:30 A.M., EDWIN J., son of John R., and Mary A. Stoddert, aged 5 years 2 months, and 17 days.

The friends of the family are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the residence of his parents, Arch Street, near Jones avenue, Pittsburgh, THIS AFTERNOON, at 2:30 o'clock. 


SHANNON-On Tuesday evening, December 1, 1896, JOHN SHANNON, in his 56th year.

Funeral from the residence of his sister, Mrs. John R. Stoddard, No. 6 Carver street, East End, to-day at 1 p.m.


SHANNON-on Saturday, December 10, 1904, at 12:30 a.m., Margaret, wife of the late John Shannon, in her 67th year. Funeral from her late residence, 1726 Mary Street, South Side, on Monday, December 12, 1904, at 8 a.m. Requiem mass at St. Johns Evangelist Church at 9 a.m. Friends of the family are respectfully invited to attend.

 KILLEEN-On Friday, December 10, 1909, at 3:15 p.m.  Julia M. Killeen (nee Sullivan), wife of George E. Killeen, at the residence of her brother, P.F. Sullivan, 5432 Ellsworth avenue, East End.

STODDART-At her residence, 324 Hailman st., E.E., on Saturday morning, Nov. 14, 1925, at 5 o’clock, Mary A. Stoddart, widow of John Stoddart, in her 82nd  year. Funeral services at Calvary Episcopal church, Shady ave and Walnut St., E. E., on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Interment private.


STODDART-On Tuesday morning, May 1, 1934, at 9:30 o’clock, Charles M. Stoddart, aged 60 years. Services at the residence of his sister, Mrs. Virginia Kerlin, of 324 Hailman street, East End. Time of funeral later.


KERLIN-On Sunday, May 2, 1937, at 5:30 a.m., Henry A., husband of Virginia Gertrude Kerlin. Services at his late residence, 324 Hailman St., E. E., Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Interment private.


KILLEEN-Sunday, Aug. 26, 1945, John P., P.O. U.S.M.R., former policeman, beloved husband of Janice Killeen; father of 5 children, of 5432 Ellsworth Ave. Friends received at the James C. Campbell Funeral Home, 300 Shady Ave. Time of funeral later.


KERLIN-On Thursday, Oct 11, 1962. Virginia Stoddart, wife of the late Henry A. Kerlin, of 324 Hailman St., E. E., mother of Mrs. Wilford Snyder, Mrs. Victor Davis, Mrs. Thomas Spell and Robert Kerlin; also survived by 13 grandchildren.

Friends received at the Raymond C. Waples Funeral Home, Baum Blvd. at Graham St., E. E., from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Services at the Calvary Episcopal Church, Shady Ave., E. E., Monday morning at 11 o’clock.


SNYDER-Suddenly, on Wednesday, Feb 9, 1966, Anna Mary Kerlin, beloved wife of Wilford M. (Bill) Snyder of 918 Belfont St., East End; mother of Virginia D. Green of Pgh., Arthur C., of Whittier, Calif., Wilford R., of Fairmont, W. Va., and Charles S. Snyder, at home; sister of Janice Davis, Ruth Spell, and Robert Kerlin; also five grandchildren.

REID-On Friday, September 25, 1970, Henry G., of Dormont, beloved husband of Marie Roberts Reid; father of Mrs. Geraldine Killeen and Ronald H. Reid.  Grandfather of Jessica Ann Reid.  Brother of Mrs. Anne Woolaghan, Mrs. Mary Stevens, John, Daniel, William, and Isaac Reid.

Mrs. Mary A. DONOVAN, widow of Michael Donovan, died yesterday at her home, 546 Seventh Ave.  The funeral will be held from the residence at 9:30 am to-morrow, with high mass of requiem at St. Paul’s Cathedral at 10 o’clock. (May 17, 1898)

Virginia Dare Snyder Green, 72, of Acme, died Saturday, May 24, 2003, in her home in Cummingswood Park. Mrs. Green was born Feb. 19, 1931, in Pittsburgh, the daughter of the late Wilford and Mary Kerlin Snyder. For many years, she had been a clerk at Leeper's Market in Acme. She was a former member of the Calvary Episcopal Church in Pittsburgh. She is survived by her loving family: two sons, Carl M. Green and Robert K. Green and friend, Denise Causer, all of Acme; a daughter, Kelly Green Meerhoff and her husband, Thomas E., of Mt. Pleasant; seven grandchildren; three brothers, Arthur Snyder and his wife, Esther V., William Snyder and his wife, Vicky and Chuck Snyder and his wife, Laurie; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Friday, July 11, from 4 to 5 p.m. at GALONE-CARUSO'S, 204 Eagle St., Mt. Pleasant, where a memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. with the Rev. Richard L. Hartman officiating. Inurnment will follow with her late husband, Bob (Robert R. Green), at Middle Presbyterian Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant Township. The Green family will receive family and friends at the Acme Community Center immediately following the inurnment at the cemetery.
