Star - A spot of white on the forhead.
Stripe - A narrow strip of white down the face.
Bald Face - A white face extending to to at least one eye and down the side.
Blaze - A wide strip of white down the face.
Snip - A spot of white on the muzzle between the nostrils.

Stocking - White starting at the hoof up to the knee or hock.
Half-Stocking - White part way up the cannon bone.
Pastern - White to the bottom of the fetlock.
Coronet - White ring around coronet of hoof.
Sock - White including the fetlock.
Ermine - Dark spots on white near the hoof.
