| FIRST THINGS FIRST: I am a 43-year-old, white female seeking work as a live-in housekeeper in any southern state (except Florida or California) with a comparatively warm year-round climate (excluding the colder, mountainous areas, of course). So as to avoid any cultural/language mishaps, I prefer working at a job as a maid cleaning in a white, American household. If you're interested in hiring me to do your housekeeping, I am a smoker and must have the opportunity to smoke cigarettes freely in your home. I do not offer care for children or for disabled, senile, or chronically infirmed persons and cannot perform jobs that require heavy lifting. If you consider employing me to work cleaning your house, apt., condo..., I must be in a residence along or very near a public transportation route. As a live-in maid, I require a room of my own with a sufficient amount of privacy in a home that is in good repair with central air and heat. I also need a reasonable amount and variety of fresh food and beverage items that I like in the household and, of course, ample housecleaning supplies to work with. |

| FYI: Aside from finding someone to employ me for housecleaning, my interests are now somewhat limited to writing and computers. I like writing journals, letters to friends, and poetry. I also like browsing the Internet and would like learning more about optimal searching techniques, authoring web pages, locating decent graphics, and working with various web page elements.... I would really like having the use of a computer with various software installations (e.g. "WORD", "Paint", etc.) that can be used simultaneously with the Internet -- either at the local public library or, preferably, at your residence. I am hoping to find and begin a job right away doing housework for an employer whose home will be in fairly clean condition at the time of my arrival. I would be very appreciative of being informed in advance about any miscellaneous considerations that might be important to me (e.g. your residence is atop a 30-story building and there is no elevator; your home is located next to an airport, a fire station, a hazardous waste dump that continually has accidents, a railroad, and a police station and is continually blasted with engines, whistles, and sirens; you have a shoe fetish and need 30 pairs of patent leathers polished daily....) Should someone wish to hire me to do their housekeeping, I am quite willing to relocate to any southern state (except Florida or California). Although quickly arranging transportation to begin my job as a live-in maid might be rather difficult because of present monetary considerations, I'm sure that something of mutual acceptance could be arranged. |
