Eurostar Cargo will be accepting the first B747-400F freighter aircraft. The B747-400 is the largest and most
fuel-efficient commercial cargo aircraft in production. With the introduction of the B747-400F Eurostar Cargo
will be offering more improved service in terms of schedule reiability as well as increased payload capacity
and range.

We moved our Hub from  Hahn  to Frankfurt Airport this move will make it possible to fly our B747s
Nonstop to South America and to our new Hub in Hongkong.

18-August-2002
Last week eurostar Cargo took delivery of the first B747-200 Freighter with this Aircraft Eurostar
will operate the first B747 ever in the fleet.

we are preparing our Move to Frankfurt/Main Airport and our joined Cargo Operation
with Meridian Airlines is in final stages presently coordinating our Cargo Schedules
and melting them into one. More news on the way please check here or in our forum.

The Cargo Division is going  thru some major restructuring process. This  include several changes:

- New Brand Name for our Cargo Division.
- Move of the Cargo Hub from Hahn to Frankfurt/Main Airport.
- A strong codeshare agreement with Meridian Airlines Cargo  is in the works.
- We will expand our Cargo Fleet and add several more Aircraft Types B757/B767-200/300, B747-200/400 etc.
- Expanding our Cargo Schedule to make it more attractive to our Pilots.

presently we are working on  details of the above mentioned items we will advise you as soon more
details came available. Since I am also running the Fleet update as the Fleet Director I have presently limited time to update the Cargo Pages more frequently.

We will start service from Hahn to Johannesburg via Nairobi  effective 01.April with our B747 freighter
which will be delivered to us shortly. Also our  South American Rotation will be switched to the B747  we will discontinue our technical stop in the Canary Islands which was previously required with the B767F  . I have been promoted  to Fleet Director and   will be responsible for the entire fleet of eurostar . I will  try with a dedicated team to  provide the same level  quality of Aircrafts to our mainline fleet. Presently We are
in deep discussions with our Partner Meridian how to expand the codeshare agreement to our Cargo Operations I will keep you posted on that since I see some major news coming up.

The B747F is in testing as we speak we ecounterd some problems like a fuel overconsumption
we will post more info  here soon. In other news WILCO finally was able to provide a Update for PIC767
which you can download at
www.wilcopub.com. With the update our B767F is fully FS2002
compatible if any of you encounter problems with the lights (Beacon,Storbe, Position Lights)
Let me know I can send you a update. Thats it for now we will announce soon when we going to
put the Queen of the Skies in Service.

Sorry for not updating for almost 2 weeks but I can assure things going strong and we are close to take delivery of our first B747-200F (See the Screenshot on the Cargo Entry page). The Aircraft is going thru the last Maintenance checks and we will advise when we are going to put it in service. We decided that the MD11 will not fullfill the needs of our Cargo Operation. I am presently involved in other eurostar projects so the next news update will be around the 15.Feb.

Flightplan Page updated today with some great addon from our Eurostar Pilo

He prepared a special Checksheet for every Cargo Flight we have with Route,Flight,Aircraft information
which you can print before your flight and use it for your  Briefing  and later for your Flight Report

For those of you who are flying the B767 with the PIC Panel from WIlco and are waiting for the FS2002 Patch the News is the Patch for FS2002 can take a long time until it is available a good estimate is 2-3 months or even more as per the developers looks they
encounterd some problems.

Just got my copy of FS2002 and Checking the compatiblity of the Cargo Fleet  will give you a update soon on that.

SInce 5DEC.01 Version 3.2 is out

Changes from 3.1
-Report file now includes 1 foot/1 pound CoG offset. You don't need to care about this number unless I ask you for it.
- Now works correctly with default FS2002 aircraft
- Random Min and Max setting for Cargo added just like passenger loading.
- Works with non-standard waypoint data in FS PLN file.

As you all know our Airline is going thru some re-organization. We urge
Pilots who were sending FREQ to the Hamburg Station Manager to discontinue
that procedure immediately please go to the Global Flight Assignments system

I personally think this is the best B737 Panel available for FS2000 would be a great addition to our B737 Fleet and the best part is its freeware. In case you are having problems with some of the

Eurostar turned yesterday 5years old. We had a great online Party with the Founders,Management and Pilots
of Eurostar.Sorry for not updating the Cargo Pages lately was very  busy the last 2 weeks I am currently working
on the missing Flightplans and several other issues. You will see some updates this coming week . I see
that the Cargo Operation is very popular I hope it will stay that way. Currently we are serving our South America
Rotation very limited due our MD11 is still not available we are working on that very hard even looking into other Aircraft
types we will keep you updated on that issue. Thats it for now stay tuned for more updates.
