I decided to becomne a Home Inspectori n 2004. My wife and I were house shopping. The Real Estate Market was really starting to boom, prices were climbing, and Home Inspections were being passed up, in the mad rush to beat out other buyers.
Having nearly a decade of experience in nearly all the "Residential Trades", I was able to easily recognize all the problems during the initial showings. After witnessing failing foundations and structures, hazardous workmanship, and out-dated wells and septic systems, I realized how many people were buying these homes without knowing about these problems, because they didn't have a Home Inspection.
I decided I wanted to become a Home Inspector to help protect people from the hidden "pit falls" of Home Buying.
