No one likes having their picture taken as much as kids! Group shot of children at the Home of Hope orphanage.

Two recent additions to the orphanage, bottle fed by two of the older orphans. These infants were brought at 1 day of age, after their mothers' deaths.

The orphanage is supplied with water from a small dam on the mountainside. The water is piped to a storage tank at the orphanage.

The mothers shown here are widows from the area. They have dedicated themselves to caring for these children until they are raised. They receive a small allowance each month for their personal needs. Some help with the cooking and four are teachers in the nursery school.

This little room is the orphanage's "medical clinic" - much improved from several years ago!

Rev. Chipeta describes this abandoned donkey stable as his "fax office to God", his personal place for prayer.

Boys are the same the world over - they all get dirty knees!

Construction on the new building mentioned in Jane Glaves' newsletter below. This houses the new school, the clinic, and hopefully a library and sewing rooms.

A couple of sisters enjoying each other's company! This is what the orphanage is all about - bringing hope and joy to children who have very little else.
