Objectives
- Help about-to-be married couples to cope with wedding arrangements
and administrative procedures.
- Be a support group for couples facing problems with their
marriage.
- Provide fellowship for couples.
- To gain marriage experience from each other so that couples
can better cope with married life and life as a faithful and loving
spouse.
Membership
- Member – married couple.
- Associate Member – about-to-be married couple or invited
guest.
Challenges Which The Group Can Help
- Changing of partner trend. A trend of changing partners
for a night has emerged. This affects the family life and corrupts the
soul. By joining the Married Couple Group’s fellowship, couples can
become more God-centred.
- Retrenchment, VSS, etc. One of the main concerns on a young
married couple is job security. The group can hold discussions/group
support session to help a member who loses his/her job overcome the situation.
Talks/Discussion can also be done by members or invited guests to help
prepare couples face such prospects.
- Family planning issues. Members or invited guests can meet
to talk/discuss about family planning.
- Child-care issues. Members or invited guests can meet to
talk/discuss about child-care issues.
- Financial security issues. Members or invited guests can
meet to talk/discuss about investments and financial planning issues.
