It has been over a year since MCG started. MCG started as an offshoot of
SIAM. The pioneers of MCG were mostly the married members of SIAM. When we
started MCG, we shared meals together once a month and shared about what
each of us have been doing at work and in our daily lives.
Now, we have started to play sports and exercise together. Although our numbers are still small, I feel that those who attend MCG events regularly have drawn closer to each other. We can now share our lives openly. This is one of our objectives. Although, many SIC parishioners and group/ministry leaders do not even know of our existence, I hope our members who talk to them and slowly but surely spread the word about MCG.
Hopefully, our sports and exercise events will be on a weekly or fortnightly basis. By the grace of the Lord, MCG has been blessed with dedicated members.
