When they finally got to danny�s house she sat on the sofa and watched danny in the kitchen as he made hot chocolate for both of them. Gemma couldn�t believe it, she felt like she was dreaming. She was a unlucky person with a horrible life, well sure she had an alright life when her mum and dad were around but after they died her life turned into a nightmare, then suddenly danny came along. He restored the happiness in her and healed her broken heart. gemma lay back and thought of how her parents would feel about her being in a strange, older boys house at this time of the night, until she was stopped in her tracks by a ringing phone. Danny answered, �hello?� oh hiya mate� now?� oh sorry I can�t right now I�m� I�m in the middle of something� alright cya!� �who was that?� gemma asked, �oh it was tom he�s in my band,� �oh� gemma replied pretending she didn�t already know who tom was, � but anyway, maybe we should leave the hot chocolate you look really tired, do you want to sleep in my bed?� gemma got a little bit worried, she knew that what she felt for danny was love but she wasn�t ready to sleep in the same bed as him, danny could tell what she was thinking by the look on her face, �oh don�t worry, I�ll sleep on the sofa!� he said with a smirk on his face. Gemma agreed and followed him into the bedroom. It wasn�t until she actually got into bed that she realised how tired she really was, she shut her eyes and danny sat on the edge of the bed next to her, gently stroking her face and running his fingers through her hair. Gemma soon fell asleep and danny sat and watched her sleep for a bit before making a bed on the sofa and going to sleep himself . At 3 o�clock in the morning danny awoke. It took him a while to realise why he was sleeping on the sofa, then he heard a quiet snuffling sound and realised gemma was crying. He quickly went in a found her sobbing into his pillow. � oh baby, don�t cry.� he said wrapping his arms around her and rocking her slowly. �what�s up?� he whispered into her ear, � I had a dream about my mum and dad, did I wake you up? I�m so sorry.� she answered �it�s o.k hun, don�t worry about it that�s why I wanted you to stay remember? So I would be here if you needed a big danny hug!� gemma giggled a little then danny put her back into his bed and climbed in with her. They talked until danny fell asleep and then gemma lay and studied his face closely. She thought about her parents, if there was one thing that they would of wanted it would�ve been for her to be happy. And she was happy here with danny, he loved her, protected her, and treated her how she deserved. At that moment she stopped feeling all of the guilt that she had felt before and realised that she could still be happy even if her parents weren�t around. With that she fell back to sleep and had sweet dreams of her and danny. When she awoke the next morning danny was no longer in the bed so she decided to get up, she quickly glanced at the clock and was shocked to see that it was already 11 o�clock! She rushed to get dressed into the clothes that she was wearing the night before and tried to flatten her hair with her hands. She walk into the living room to find that the house was empty, there was a note on the table so she picked it up and read it. �soz babe I had to go to a show with the rest of mcfly and you looked too cute to wake up! I�ll be home for 1 o�clock so don�t go running away on me, love you, danny xx.� gemma smiled to herself while reading it, she was so happy it was like a film, she met this amazing boy just yesterday and already he is leaving her sweet little notes that have �love you� at the end! Her life has gone from a disaster film to a romantic film in 24 hours! Gemma didn�t know what to do, it wasn�t her house so it�s not as if she could tidy up or clean, and she had nowhere to go out, so she decided to just sit down and watch the t.v . besides, she deserved it after everything she had been through. She was flicking through the channels when she noticed that mcfly were on a television show called Saturday morning and were getting interviewed. Gemma couldn�t believe how many times she had seen them on the tv where they looked so normal but only the night before she fell in love with one of them and was safe in his arms, but the only bad thing was, she was sure that danny didn�t feel the same way. Gemma turned the television up to block the horrible thoughts of danny not liking her, � so, danny your latest song is called star girl, do you have your own star girl?� the t.v presenter asked danny �well,� he replied �there is someone that I like, and I really want to ask her out but I�m not sure if she likes me.� gemma sat on the edge of her seat, her heart racing waiting to hear more, � do you think she is watching now?� inquired the presenter, �I don�t think so� but just in case she is, gemma, will you out with me?� these words repeated in gamma�s head for several seconds before they actually sunk in, she flopped back onto the sofa with a massive grin that stretched from ear to ear and thought about what she had just heard.
