Tessa died 3:54am April 26th 2002.
Tessa Isabel Damon was born into this world March 11, 2002. Although her
life on earth was only six weeks long, her memory will live forever in the hearts of her family. Tessa Damon died in the early morning hours of
Friday, April 26, 2002, at the University of Chicago Hospital following
complications from heart surgery.
Tessa knew the love of her family even before they held her in their
arms. Knowing before her birth of a defect in her heart, her parents made plans for emergency surgery shortly after her birth. Tessa�s heart was
repaired and perfect, however a kidney deficiency was found and through
dialysis, an infection developed that was beyond the doctor�s expertise.
In the span of a few hours, Tessa left the arms of her parents and was
released into the loving hands of her Heavenly Father.
She leaves now her mommy and daddy, Todd and Patti Damon; one loving big
sister, Emma, all of Big Rock, IL; her maternal grandparents, Bruce and
Cindy Peck of lowville, NY; her paternal grandparents, Mike and Laurel
Serrurier of Somonauk, IL, and Rich and Debbie Damon of Batavia, IL; three
great-grandmas: Lillian Damon of Aurora, IL, Muriel Hirshey and Minnie
Peck, both of upstate New York.
She will be remembered and loved by all.
