POLYMERS
- Polymers have molecular weights ranging from 10,000-1,000,000 g/mole.  Mechanical properties of a polymer are affected by the weight of the polymer.

- Most polymers have a glass transition temperature of about 100 degrees C or 212 degrees F.

- Polymers can be both crystalline or amorphous.

- Polymer chains slide around each other and some are connected to each other.

- The chemical structure of the chains has a tremendous effect on the polymers properties and characteristics.

- Linked by covalent bonds.
