Here are some ideas to help you write! Again, size doesn't matter, just please add a disclaimer. NC-17 stories will NOT be posted on this site, but, if you tell us and want people to read it, we will put your story title, a description up, then your e-mail address so people can get ahold of you.

1. Write a story that follows the Law & Order format, from the detectives to the D.A's.

2. Last year we were shocked and suprised by Jack's broken lamp. Write how it got broken, ( ex: Did Nora get mad and throw it at him? Did he throw it? ), solve the case of Jack's broken lamp.

3. Write your story about Lennie and Ed's relationship when Ed first became Lennies partner (NO SLASH STORIES!).

4. Write a story telling how Anita Van Buren got to be a Lieutenant, and the effect of her lawsuit to become captain on the people of the 2-7 and Hogan Place.

5. Write a story from the viewpoint of one of the lesser characters. For example, Dr. Rogers of the ME's office, or Crocker, one of the ADA's at Hogan Place.

6. Write a story telling how Nora and Jack would handle the troubles that have come to NYC since 9-11, especially the clash between firefighters and police at Ground Zero.

7. Write a funny story involving all the L&O characters.

8. The Law & Order crossovers or Law & Order/ Homicide crossovers were always great to watch...write a crossover between the shows. You can have Lennie and Munch be partners, (That could be great!). Try to write the newer cast's as well but older casts will be fine too.

9. Write a story about why and how Nora came to be District Attorney. Write her life before Hogan Place, her family life etc. Was being D.A a dream of hers, or something spur of the moment? Or, did she come to Hogan Place for another reason, (JACK?). Have fun!!!

Many fans of Law & Order tuned in for a simple reason. To see their favorite actor/actress on t.v. So, a fan of the stars of the show, must have seen the stars other works. Here is your challenge.

Write a crossover story of Law & Order VS. one of the actors other works.
Ex. Law & Order VS. Bullets Over Broadway
*This is a Dianne Wiest movie, find how to crossover l&o with the Academy Award winning movie. Her character is Helen Sinclaire, a Broadway Legend.

The MEGA challenge, is to cross Law & Order with movies or shows that the cast played in... NOTE...for this to be a MEGA challenge, you must cross it over with at least 4 of the actors other performances. It could be for ANY season, or EVERY season of the show, NO size limit.

Anyone who writes the MEGA challenge will be showcased and have a page dedicated entirely to their story.
