Maybe Claire's ghost is venting anger at Jack. After all, they tried to
contact each other, but ended up playing telephone tag. Jack left the bar
not caring if Claire showed up or not. When she did arrive, Jack was long
gone. She didn't like being stood up like that. Especially when it
eventually cost her her life.
