Tesla Power & Automation, Houston, Tx Electrical Designer-13.8 KV Switchgear upgrade project. Included equipment location, cable tray, duct bank, grounding & lighting plans for construction. Layered model w/paperspace (Autocad 2002). Wiring interconnection diagrams & schematics. Cable & Raceway using Virtual Plant (Microsoft Access) software for the project. Designed per client specs and NEC guidelines.

NEPCO Bothell, WA Combined Cycle Power Plant Projects, I&CS Designer and Checker, Instrument Junction Box & Power Panel Arrangements, Wiring and Rebis generated Loop Diagrams (deliverables). Cable Schedules, REBIS AutoPLANT database (FoxPro/Access '97) development & AutoCAD 2000i. Access database development and programming.

Voith-Siemens Hydro Power Generation, York, PA, New York Power Authority - Hydro-Power Control System Modernization project. Electrical & Control Systems Designer responsible for design & development of construction drawings and group compliance of client drawing standards. Created new location plans, installation & demolition details, panel arrangements, wiring diagrams & schematics (including typical drawing format). Developed field panel arrangements for RTD junction boxes. Involved in panel fabrication & testing with subcontractor at TLJ Switchgear in New Zealand. Utilized MicroStation CAD, AutoCAD release 14 and 20001, Excel & Access 2000.

Lockwood Greene, St. Louis, Mo. (contract), John Sander - Supervisor. Electrical & Instrument Designer, Mallinckrodt-Pharmaceutical Processing Building 235 project. Responsible for I/O count and card assignment for DCS/PLC System (Fisher-Rosemount Delta V). Developed I/O database (Access '97), schematics, location plans, lighting plans (AutoCAD 14).

Petrocon Engineering Co., Houston, TX (contract), Instrument designer for Saudi Aramco (Riyadh) DCS upgrade project. Assigned to PID group and Systems group. Implemented design changes on drawings and incorporated data into project (Microsoft Access '97). Generated loop and wiring diagrams using Petrodoc (FoxPro).
March 1997 - August 1998
M.W. Kellogg Company, Houston, TX (direct), Electrical and Instrument Designer FCC Team Refining Group for Valero Magnacat and Shell Wood River projects. Utilized AutoCAD rel. 14 and MicroStation to develop wiring drawings, loop diagrams instrument installation details. Developed grounding and cabling schedule drawings.
Sonarco, Algeria Project - Designed cable tray plan drawing and details, Cathidic protection, grounding, power, lighting plans and detail drawings utilizing MicroStation and PDS Drawing Manager.
Sunoco, Gerard Pt. FCC Project - Sr. Electrical/Instrument drafter responsible for design package on process area modification projects. Plans, details, & schematics using AutoCAD 13 and Intergraph 5.1 on NT workstation. Nitrogen Leasing Co. Project, Trinidad - Participated in the development of design drawings using CAD. Clix Vax Workstation.

DuPont/John Brown Engg. Louisville, KY (contract), Electrical Designer for Power group at the Louisville Works Plant site. Utilized MicroStation rel. 5.0 (Falcon), Access and All-in-One to produce project packages of design drawings consisting of Electrical and Instrument details, DCS loops, P&ID's, ICD's, plant power distribution, one-line wiring diagrams, schematics, equipment arrangements, lighting & grounding plans per DuPont standards, specifications and project scope of work. Developed database to automate lists, transmittals, requisitions and input sheets (Microsoft Access). Field data verification and as-built activities, piping and structural drafting work.
November '95 - February '96
Texaco/Huntsman Corp., Conroe, TX (contract), On-site Electrical AutoCAD Drafter for Process Safety Management group responsible for updating all Electrical drawings for process hazards analysis. Utilized AutoCAD rel. 12.0 via AutoManager Workflow to update plan drawings and generate new plans, arrangements and detail drawings, revised existing drawings per client standards and NEC guidelines.
