I KNOW YOU

No one understands you;
at least that's what you think.
Your thoughts are so complex,
too complex to write in ink.

But I think of you all day,
And I slowly know you more.
I begin to understand the you
And I grow to even adore

The reasons why you said this
and the reasons why you did that.
You make more sense to me;
I feel warm at your welcome mat.

Shh... I know what you want to say.
I want to be there for you,
I hope someday you'll know me
as well as I know you.

MY WISH FOR YOU

My dreams are held, in the palm of my hand.
I squeeze my hand tightly.

A strong breeze is blowing,
I'm standing alone,
holding my dreams so tightly.

I don't want to lose it,
It's all mine, mine, mine.
Can't let go of my dreams.

But you, my friend,
you always believed in me
And you tell me my dream
should be seen by all.

So I release and as the tears form, my dream enters the hearts of everyone and shines far brighter than it did in my hand.

I feel God's love and I make a wish for everyone to show their loved ones how much they love them.

The above was meant as a Christmas poem, but I didn't get around to posting it till now.  Sorry!
