As a wolf she is black with some gray on her paws and stomach. Drauna grew up in a suburb of Washington D.C. on the Virginia border with her parents until the age of 10. But anything other than that she doesn't remember. All she remembers is her family being attacked and the pack that took her in. She and her parents were coming home from the ballet and decided to walk from the train stop instead of finding a cab. Drauna hitched up her dress to free her ankles and ran as fast as she could, giggling all the while. While running through the small wooded area in the back of their home, she caught sight of a wolf and began to run back to where her parents were, but it was too late. The werewolf had already caught sight of her and began to chase after her, catching up quickly. He jumped on top of her and began to attack, ripping at her clothes and body. Her father attacked the wolf in an attempt to save his daughter. He and Drauna's mother died at the hands of the werewolf before it left, thinking little Drauna was dead as well. The next morning, the wolf found Drauna and her parents in his human form. He realized what he did and saw that the young girl was not harmed. He took the girl back to the pack where they took care of Drauna. The pack, however, killed the werewolf for murdering Drauna's family. Ulric, another in the pack, took her in and raised her until she was 14. At this time, Drauna decided she didn�t agree with the way the pack ran things and ran off after getting into a nasty fight with the pack leader. She had been on the run for 3 years before finding a home within New Mayhem. |
